Terms and conditions of Nordjyllands Trafikselskab's webshop and application for Android and iPhone

Tickets and validity:

Cash tickets, additional tickets, bicycle tickets (Only valid in Nordjyske Jernbaners trains), Travel Passes and seasonal and campaign tickets can be purchased for buses and trains in NT's tariff area.

Cash tickets purchased in the webshop and the app have the same validity as NT's regular cash tickets. Supplementary tickets extend the validity of the regular ticket.

The validity of a Travel Pass can be either 24 or 72 hours from the selected start time. Travel Pass is valid for buses and trains within NT's tariff area.

Bicycle tickets can ONLY be used on Nordjyske Jernbaners trains, and is only valid with another travel ticket and follows its time- and zone validity. 

A variety of campaign and season tickets can also be purchased. The price and validity of these tickets varies, but they will always appear on the ticket.

The price is shown in DKK or Euro. (Euro is only an indicative price). All transactions are made in DKK.

Tickets for cross-tariff-border travel are purchased on the bus, at the station or at DSB.dk.

 

Delivery:

Tickets purchased in the webshop or app will be delivered per E-mail and/or stored in the app on the Android phone or iPhone where the application is downloaded. All purchased tickets are saved under "My Tickets".

If the app is deleted, the tickets will also be deleted. If you reinstall the app, valid tickets will be transferred when you sign in on the app, if it is done on the same mobile phone with the same phone number from which you purchased the tickets.

App tickets can not be transferred to other devices.

 

Ticket inspection:

You are required to present the ticket for the bus driver or train personnel when boarding the bus and to the inspection staff. You are required to switch between the different screens on request. Screendumps and prints of app tickets are not valid ticket forms.

Tickets must be purchased before boarding the bus or train - the ticket's validity starts from the time and date stated on the ticket. App tickets are only valid if there is power on the phone throughout the validity period. If you lose your phone, and thus can not show your ticket, you will be issued a penalty fee.

The screen on your phone must be intact, so it is possible to read and scan the ticket. You are required to change the brightness of the phone’s screen on request. If your ticket can not be scanned due to the before mentioned issues, the ticket is considered invalid. It is your own responsibility to ensure that the validity of the ticket can be verified by the inspection staff by scanning.

Copy, change, forwarding or resale of tickets purchased in the app or webshop is not allowed. 

You must be able to show your ID upon request to verify e.g. your age (health card, student card, driver's license or passport).

 

Payment:

The ticket can be paid with one of the following payment cards: Dankort, Visa/Visa Electron/VPay, MasterCard/MasterCard Debit/Maestro, JCB. Payment will be deducted from your account, when the ticket is delivered to the E-mail or phone. QuickPay Payment Services ensures that payment is secure and certified by Nets.

Apple Pay is available in the iOS app.

 

Refund:

Tickets purchased in the webshop or app can be refunded if technical errors occur on the website or application associated with the ticket purchase or a bug can be documented. If you buy the wrong ticket, the entire purchase must be canceled and a new ticket must be bought.

Nordjyllands Trafikselskab will return the amount directly to your account for repayment. It can take up to 7 business days before the amount is returned.

Expired and partially used tickets will not be refunded. Lost tickets will not be refunded unless it is due to technical errors in the app or webshop.

Travel rules and conditions:

The ticket together with NT's travel regulations are make up a travel agreement.

Errors and omissions excepted in the app and web shop.

NT reserves the right to discontinue supporting older operating systems and browsers. Upon termination, this will be notified no later than one month before the change.
